I went to my "real" interview today. Ends up, Brown is very interested in me being a supervisor at the airport, perhaps a load planner. What does this mean? I still don't have a start date for when I'll begin working. But it also means a possibly much better starting wage. What about insurance, and drive time? I'll find out soon.
It's been six years since I was at UPS , but I guess it's a lot like riding a bike. Get packages from A to B as quickly and efficiently as possible, and make sure no one gets hurt. I am trying not to be anxious but there just seems to be a lot of life change right now. Things seem familiar, but different. Normal, but strange. Exciting, but down right scary. Reminders that I am really not in control of my schedule or my finances. There's some peace and rest in remembering that.
